Who We Are
Viva Roofing Inc is a family-owned residential roofing company. We started in 2021, and the business is run by Mike Zhukov. If you call us, there is a good chance Mike is the one who picks up, and if you hire us, he is the one who checks on the job, answers your questions and walks the finished roof with you.
Our office is at 9555 Lebanon Road in Frisco. From there we work the north Dallas suburbs, and over time the company has grown to serve Austin and the San Antonio area as well. We are a local Texas company, not a crew that follows storms from state to state and is gone by the time a question comes up.
Most of what we do is replacing and repairing roofs on homes. We also install metal roofs and work on commercial properties, but the heart of the business is a homeowner who wants to know what is going on with the roof over their family and wants a straight answer about it.
Three Regions, Three Kinds of Roofing Work
Dallas-Fort Worth
Our home region. We work Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Little Elm and Dallas. North Texas sees hail most years, so a large share of our work here is restoring roofs after storms: we inspect, photograph the damage and build to the adjuster’s approved scope once the homeowner and their insurer have settled the claim.
Austin
In Austin more of our work is retail replacement, meaning homeowners who are paying for a new roof directly because the old one has reached the end of its life. The process is the same: a free inspection, a written estimate and a crew that cleans up after itself.
San Antonio
We serve San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo and Converse. Like Austin, a lot of the work there is out-of-pocket replacement. This fall it is also storm work: a hail storm hit northeast San Antonio on September 11, 2026, and we are inspecting roofs across that side of town. See our San Antonio roofing page for the details.
How a Job Runs
Every roof we work on goes through the same four steps. Nothing gets skipped because a job is small, and nothing gets added that you did not agree to in writing.
1. A free inspection, with photos
We get up on the roof and photograph what we find: worn or missing shingles, hail bruising, lifted flashing, soft spots in the decking. Then we sit down and walk you through the pictures. You keep the photos whether or not you hire us. If there is storm damage and you decide to make a claim, you file it with your insurance company and our photos go with it. The claim itself is between you and your insurer.
2. A written estimate
Before anything is scheduled you get the scope and the price in writing. If a repair will hold, the estimate says repair. If the roof is past that point, we explain why, with the photos to back it up. We can also price a Class 4 impact-resistant shingle beside a standard architectural shingle so you can weigh the two. Financing is available on approved credit through a third-party lending partner.
3. The installation
Our crew tears the old roof off down to the decking, replaces any boards that need it, puts down new underlayment and installs the new roof. The yard and driveway get cleaned up as we go and again at the end.
4. A walk-through with drone photos
When the roof is done, we go over it with you, including drone photos so you can see the before and after from above. If something does not look right to you, that is the moment to say so, and we will deal with it.
