Roofing Services in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin & San Antonio

Replacements, repairs, hail damage and new roofs from a family-owned Texas company, starting with a free inspection.

A Family-Owned Roofer Since 2021

Viva Roofing Inc is a family-owned roofing company based in Frisco. Since 2021 we have been replacing and repairing roofs for homeowners across Dallas-Fort Worth, and we now work in Austin and San Antonio as well. Mike, the owner, stays involved in the jobs, which is the thing our customers mention most often in their reviews.

Most of the roofs we work on are homes. In Dallas-Fort Worth that usually means hail: a storm rolls through, shingles get bruised, and the homeowner wants to know whether the roof needs work. In Austin and San Antonio we do more straightforward replacements, where the roof has simply reached the end of its life and the homeowner is paying for the new one directly.

Whichever service you land on, the first step is the same. We inspect the roof, photograph what we find, and give you a written estimate before any work starts. If the honest answer is a small repair, or no work at all, that is what we will tell you.

Choosing

Repair It, Replace It, or Leave It Alone?

Four situations we see all the time, and where each one usually leads.

One leak on a newer roof

If the roof is fairly young and the problem is in one spot, such as a lifted shingle, a cracked pipe boot or a flashing gap, a repair is usually the right call. Replacing a sound roof because of one leak is money you do not need to spend.

An older roof with repeat problems

When the shingles are brittle, granules are piling up in the gutters and leaks keep showing up in new places, patching starts to cost more than it saves. That is when we talk about replacement, and we show you the photos that back it up.

A hailstorm went through

Hail damage is often invisible from the yard. A free inspection tells you whether the shingles were bruised or cracked. If there is damage and you decide to file a claim, you file it with your insurer and we provide the inspection photos.

Nothing wrong, just curious

Buying a home, selling one, or just wondering how many years the roof has left are all good reasons for an inspection. Sometimes the answer is that the roof is fine, and you get the photos to prove it.

Roofing Materials We Install

The material decision matters most on a replacement. These are the options we price for Texas homes and buildings.

Architectural asphalt shingles

Most of the roofs we install are architectural shingles. They are thicker than the old flat three-tab style, they look better from the street, and they suit nearly every home in the neighborhoods we work in. See asphalt shingle roofs for more.

Class 4 impact-resistant shingles

In North Texas and the San Antonio area, hail is part of owning a roof. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are built to take harder hits than a standard shingle. We can price them side by side with a standard architectural shingle so you can decide whether the difference is worth it for your home.

Metal roofing

Some homeowners want a metal roof for its look or its long service life. We will price metal roofing on your actual roof so you are comparing real numbers, not rules of thumb.

Low-slope and commercial roofs

Flat and low-slope sections, on homes or on business buildings, need different materials and details than a pitched shingle roof. If that is what you have, ask about commercial roofing and we will look at it the same way: inspect, photograph, then a written estimate.

Every job

What Comes With Every Job

The basics do not change between a small repair and a full replacement.

  • A free inspection with photos. We go up on the roof and photograph what we find, often with a drone, so you see the roof for yourself.
  • A written estimate before work starts. You see the scope and the price in writing, and nothing begins until you agree to it.
  • Straight answers, no upselling. If a repair will do the job, we say so. Our customers’ reviews come back to fair pricing and honest advice again and again.
  • Financing available. Financing is available on approved credit through a third-party lending partner. Ask about it when we go over your estimate.
  • The owner stays involved. Mike answers questions before, during and after the job, and he can show you the finished roof by drone, before and after.

Mike was responsive and fast. He came back to check on my home after a concerned I had. I got a full roof replacement with class 4 shingles and he answered any questions I had before and after. Now the main part. My roof looks great and he showed me the roof with a drone to show the before and after.
