A lot of Little Elm calls start with one problem: a few shingles off after a windy night, a leak around a vent, a stain on the ceiling. If the rest of the roof is sound, we fix the problem area and tell you so.
Little Elm wraps around the northern and eastern shores of Lewisville Lake in Denton County, and it calls itself "The Town With a Lake Attitude." It was a small lake community of 3,646 people in 2000. By 2010 it had grown to 25,898, and the 2020 census counted 46,453.
That timeline tells you a lot about the roofs. A large share of Little Elm homes went up in the 2000s building boom, which puts many of those original shingle roofs at or near the age where repairs stop being worth it. Newer neighborhoods keep filling in along Eldorado Parkway, FM 423 and FM 720, so on the same drive we see first-generation roofs that need replacing and brand-new ones that only need a check after a storm.

Roofs That Came In With the 2000s Boom
When a town grows from a few thousand people to over twenty-five thousand in a decade, a lot of roofs get installed in the same short window. In Little Elm that window was the 2000s, and those roofs are aging together. Curled tabs, bare spots where granules have washed off, and brittle shingles that crack when they are lifted are what we find most on homes from that period.
Age alone does not mean you need a new roof. Sometimes a repair buys several more years, and we will price both when both make sense. You decide with the photos in front of you.

Homes near the shoreline and the coves get the full force of wind coming across open water, with no buildings or trees in between. The edges, ridges and rakes of those roofs take that wind first, and that is where we look for lifted or creased shingles after a storm.
If you need a claim, the claim is between you and your insurance company. We give you dated inspection photos to share, and after your adjuster approves a scope, we work from that approved scope.
